Due to the beach being connected to a creek, there is a small lagoon in the back of the park, along with a barrier beach that blocks the mouth of the creek. Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the beach due to it sometimes being the nesting ground of the endangered Western Snowy Plover. This beach is only 40 minutes away from Sunnyvale.
